Food and Toy Drive

Throughout the Advent Season, the Staff and Students of St. Joseph’s School are working towards preparing our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day.  One of the ways we are trying to do this is to act in the ‘True Spirit of Christmas’ and remember that it is truly better to give then to receive.  To help internalize this message we are collecting for our FOOD AND TOY DRIVE to support the Women’s Shelter and The St. Vincent de Paul Society.  It is our goal to provide food and toys for families in need in our community.  We want to help each family celebrate the holiday season and to feel the magic of Christmas through the warmth and caring of their community.  We are asking the students to bring in NEW, UNWRAPPED toys and non-perishable food items.  All items will be given to the Women’s Shelter.

Ideas for Food Items:    canned soup, stew, tuna, instant potatoes, jam, canned fruits, pasta and sauce, cheese whiz, macaroni and cheese, pancake mix and syrup, cereal, juice or drinking boxes, pork and beans, rice

We request that all donations be sent to your child’s classroom no later than Monday, December 17th.
